1. Different types of conflict (Form)

A. WW1 (when did it happen, which countries, causes of war)

World War I, also called the First World War or Great War, an international conflict that in 1914–18 embroiled most of the nations of Europe along with Russia, the United States, the Middle East, and other regions. The war pitted the Central Powers (mainly Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Turkey) against the Allies (mainly France, Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Japan, and, from 1917, the United States). Hitler's invasion of Poland in September 1939 drove Great Britain and France to declare war on Germany, marking the beginning of World War II. Over the next six years, the conflict would take more lives and destroy more land and property around the globe than any previous war.

B. WWII (when did it happen, which countries, causes of war)

So there were parts in ww2 Axis powers (Germany, Italy, and Japan) and the Allies (France, Great Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union, and, to a lesser extent, China). The main causes of World War II were numerous. They include the impact of the Treaty of Versailles following WWI, the worldwide economic depression, failure of appeasement, the rise of militarism in Germany and Japan, and the failure of the League of Nations.

C. Ukraine vs Rusia (when did it happen, which countries, causes of war)

It started by the US inviting Ukraine to be a NATO country and Russia did not want Ukraine to be a NATO country because Ukraine is next to Russia so Russia attacked Ukraine to show the power they would have if Ukraine joined Russia.

2. How the society and environment are affected by wars (Connection)

Poverty? What else?

War destroys communities and families and often disrupts the development of the social and economic fabric of nations. The effects of war include long-term physical and psychological harm to children and adults, as well as reduction in material and human capital.

Disease & Health issues-

Military activity has significant impacts on the environment. Not only can war be destructive to the social environment, but military activities produce extensive amounts of greenhouse gasses (that contribute to anthropogenic climate change), pollution, and cause resource depletion, among other environmental impacts.

It destroys property and separates families from their children.  Terrorists torture people and children to work for all 24 hours, or overnight. Diseases are caused by harmful gasses and passed on to children.

3.Different ways to promote peace and conflict resolution (Responsibility)

  • Gender Equality - Do not Discriminate between Men & Women

  • Share our wealth fairly (only buy the things you need, don’t dress up too much, don’t only buy expensive things to show off)

  • Don’t discriminate against people by their looks (gender, skin color, ethnicity, and religion).
